The two emigrants Petter Arvid Patron, born in Koivukylä village, Hietaniemi parish and Hilma Modig from Armasjärvi

got married in Beaver Falls in Minnesota.

The upper picture is the place where Petter Arvid Patron was born, the other one is the place my father built 1927.

My father's houshole, now my summer house.

P1 is the Patron place in Hietaniemi and was sold by Petter Arvids mother after her husbands death.

Our last haymaking trip to the holms in 1950 i think. My father and I cut the natural grass with scythes.

The haymaking was hardwork for my sisters

I have marked the haymaking trip from by boathouse to the small bit of land at the holm Pukisaari. I have also marked the place for the Suova.
